Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the CookPal Application ("the App"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the platform and must immediately cease all access to our services.
Description of Service
CookPal provides an AI-powered meal management and recipe generation platform. Our services include personalized meal planning, automated grocery list generation, ingredient scanning via computer vision, and neural-network driven recipe adaptations tailored to user preferences and nutritional goals.
User Conduct
As a condition of use, you agree not to:
- blockUpload or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
- securityAttempt to bypass AI security protocols, neural interface restrictions, or platform sandboxing.
- codeReverse-engineer the proprietary algorithms or scrape the recipe database.

Content generated by our AI core is provided for informational and experimental purposes only. While our models aim for precision, accuracy in measurements, nutritional values, and ingredient combinations cannot be guaranteed.

Subscriptions & Billing

CookPal Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current subscription price. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be notified of any price changes before renewal.
cancelCancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access to Premium features until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused time in the current period.
How to cancel:
Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → CookPal → Cancel Subscription, or manage via the App Store on your device.

If a free trial period is offered, the duration and terms will be clearly disclosed at the point of purchase. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial period expires. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
All subscription and payment processing is managed exclusively by Apple App Store. CookPal does not store or process your payment information directly. Refund requests are governed by Apple's refund policy.
Intellectual Property
The App, its code, design, neural network weights, and all proprietary recipes are the exclusive property of CookPal Inc. No rights are granted to users except for the limited, non-transferable license to use the service for personal culinary development.
Limitation of Liability
THE COOKPAL SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". IN NO EVENT SHALL COOKPAL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO KITCHEN ACCIDENTS, SPOILED INGREDIENTS, OR HARDWARE FAILURE.
08Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these protocols. Material changes will be signaled via in-app notifications or through updating the Effective Date.
09Governing Law
These terms shall be constructed and interpreted in accordance with local laws where CookPal Inc. is headquartered.
